On iOS, you can place the date and captions so they don't overlap with TikTok and Instagram watermarks.
Change the placement
By default, the date and caption are placed in the middle to leave room for TikTok and Instagram Reels captions and watermarks.
If you want to set the date/caption placement to the classic 1SE style, follow these steps:
Open the mashing screen.
Tap Date/Caption.
Tap Classic to move them to the lower left of your video.
If you want to format it back for TikTok or Instagram Reels, tap Default.
There is a third option, Hidden, which leaves the date and caption off the mash altogether.
Above the three options sits a Show captions in mash checkbox. Turn it off to keep your captions out of the mash while still showing the date.
