For the past five years, using the app has been anonymous for the most part. Except for signing up for our newsletter or joining a crowd video, there was no sign up or setup portion of using 1SE.

We're now offering the ability to create an account and backup some or all of your snippets is you're an iOS user.

To correct, amend, or delete your personal information related to this account, please check out this article.

If you decided to backup with 1SE we allow you to download your data as a part of our Privacy Basics

To request a downloadable form of your personal data, please check out this article.

If you're an Android user, your backup is stored in your Drive account, which we don't have access to.

I didn't even know I had an account with 1 Second Everyday!

Not everyone does. We make it optional. So it's possible you don't have an account with us. To check, simply go to the 1SE settings and then account section to see if one has been made.

If no account exists, we don't store any profile information. All we might have is your email address from signing up to our newsletter or some support conversations if you reached out to us.

To learn more about how we handle personal data, our security standards, and overall privacy policy, please check out our Privacy Basics
