In a Freestyle Collab project, up to six people add snippets and make mashes together. Only one member needs a Pro subscription.
A Freestyle Collab project works well for sharing memories of your kids with your partner, staying in touch with those away, or recording group adventures.
Create a Freestyle Collab

On iOS
Open 1SE.
Tap Project from the menu tabs.
Tap the project name at the top-left corner to open the Project menu.
Tap Add Project.
Select Freestyle Collab.
Tap Create Project.
Enter a name for your project.
Tap Done.
On Android
Open 1SE.
Tap Add Project at the top of the Dashboard screen.
Tap Freestyle Collab.
Tap Create Project.
Enter a name for your project.
Tap the yellow double-chevron (») button to confirm. It carries no label, so there is nothing marked Done to look for.
The first time you create a Collab, a Your Profile screen appears next — "This is how you will show up in your groups." Check the name and photo you'll show up as, tap Change Profile Photo if you'd like a different one, then tap the yellow » again to finish. Once your profile is set, later Collabs go straight to the new project.
With a Pro subscription, you can create as many Collab projects as you need.
Create a snippet
Creating a snippet works the same as in any other project: see How to Create a Snippet.
Reorder snippets
Press and hold a snippet, then drag it to reorder.

Delete a snippet
Tap the three dots at the top-left corner of the snippet's preview, then choose to delete it.
Deleting a snippet can't be undone, and it's removed for every collaborator.

Change the project's name
On iOS
Tap the project name at the top-left of the project screen to bring up the list of projects.
Swipe left on the Freestyle Collab project (it has a collab tag), or press and hold it, and choose Settings.
Tap the pencil icon next to Project Name under the Project Details section.
Enter the new project name, then tap Done on the keyboard.
On Android
Tap the sliders icon in the top-right corner of your Collab project card — three short vertical sliders, not three dots. It opens a bottom sheet containing a single row.
Tap Show settings… to open the project's settings screen, which is titled Project Info.
Tap the pencil icon to the right of your project's name.
Enter the new name and tap Rename to save it, or Cancel to keep the old one.

Join a group
You can join by tapping the invite link provided by a Collab member or entering the invite code in the app.
To use the invite code:
On iOS
Open 1SE.
Tap Project from the menu tabs.
Tap the project name at the top-left corner to open the Project menu.
Tap Add Project.
Tap Join group using code under Freestyle Collab.
Enter your code.
Tap Join.
On Android
Open 1SE.
Tap Add Project at the top of the Dashboard screen.
Tap Join group using code under Freestyle Collab.
Enter your code.

Invite collaborators
To open the project's settings, tap the three dots at the top right of your Collab project card.
In the Collaborators section, tap the plus icon to invite up to 5 other people.
On Android: the sliders icon on the project card opens a bottom sheet containing a single row, Show settings… — tap that to open the settings screen, which is titled Project Info. Tapping Invite Up to 6 Members there opens your phone's own share sheet rather than a screen inside 1SE.

Open or close a project
To adjust who can join your group, open the Freestyle Collab project settings, then use the toggle switch in the Invite Settings section to allow or restrict group access if there are fewer than 6 members.
On Android: closing the group removes the invite code from Project Info altogether — the row disappears rather than greying out, so there is no code to copy while the group is closed — and the status reads Group is closed.

Change the invite link
To open the project's settings, tap the three dots at the top right of your Collab project card.
Tap Change invite link in the Invite Settings section, and confirm by tapping Change Key.
On Android: the sliders icon on the project card opens a bottom sheet containing a single row, Show settings…; tap that to open Project Info. The control there is Change invite key, and the confirmation button is Change Key.
The key also changes when you re-open a closed group.
Leave a project
Open the Freestyle Collab project settings.
Tap Leave Project. You'll lose access to the project and its snippets.
On Android: the project's admin has no Leave Project control — the only option at the bottom of Project Info is Delete Project.
If you're the only Pro subscriber in the group, the project is disabled for the remaining members.

Delete a project
Open the Freestyle Collab project settings.
Tap Delete Project. You'll lose access to the project and its snippets.
On Android: this takes two confirmations. After Delete the project ‘…’? a second prompt, Break up the Band?, explains that every collaborative group needs one Pro subscriber and that the group will be locked for everyone else if you go ahead. Tap Understood, bye! to finish.
Deleting a project can't be undone.
