We've noticed a few copyright claims on videos shared on YouTube, Instagram, and other social media platforms, which can be frustrating!

So, why does this happen? Sometimes, music composers submit their fantastic creations to third-party services that specialize in securing royalties. YouTube has an algorithm that searches for videos using content from these services. When it identifies a match, that service will monetize the video, so the royalties go straight to the copyright holder. You can check out the details here if you’d like to learn more about this.

If you find yourself in this situation, don’t hesitate to appeal for your video! The music provided by the app is licensed and fully supported by your Pro subscription, so you can feel confident. After a few minutes of appealing, your video should be back up without hassle.

If your video is still being taken down after you’ve appealed, contact us through the app's Settings > Contact Support. We'll work together to resolve this issue.
