You can't pause a 1SE subscription, but you can cancel at any time and subscribe again later. The free trial can only be used once.
Google Play does show a Pause payments option on some subscriptions, but only where the developer has turned it on, and we haven't. Apple has no pause feature at all, so canceling and subscribing again is the route on both platforms.
