As an account owner, you can request the deletion of your personal information from 1SE. If you’ve created a backup with us, you can download your data through our Privacy Basics.

Delete Your Account on the Web

Visit https://me.1se.co/account, log in, scroll down, and click the "Delete account" button at the bottom.

Delete Your Account on iOS

Select the "Profile" tab, tap the gear icon, go to "Account Settings," and then choose "Delete Account."

Delete Your Account on Android

Tap the gear icon, then go to "Account" and select "Delete Account" at the bottom.

Remember, deleting your account is irreversible and will disable some features of 1SE (like backups), but it won't terminate your subscription. To cancel your subscription on iOS, refer to this guide. For Android users, please consult this article.

What Gets Deleted?

Only the account owner can initiate deletion. The following information will be removed:

  • Full Name (if available)

  • Login email address

  • Login password

  • Email from all marketing lists

  • Profile Picture (if available)

  • All your backups (including snippets, journal entries, and dailies)

  • Shared videos (if available)

  • All support emails, files, beta testing documents

What Doesn’t Get Deleted?

Certain data is retained for legal reasons. Here's what remains:

  • Acceptance of terms of service and privacy policy, including the date

  • Deletion request

  • Confirmation of deletion

  • Email used for account identification only (excluded from marketing)

  • Your local 1SE files on your device

  • Anonymous aggregated data

Accidentally Deleted My Account. What Now?

Unfortunately, account deletion is permanent, so recovery isn't possible. This measure is in place to safeguard your security and personal information.

If you mistakenly deleted your account or have reconsidered, you’ll need to register for a new one.

Please review our Privacy Basics for more information on how we manage personal data, our security standards, and our privacy policy.
