Core Memories let you mark the snippets that mean the most to you, big or small, so you can find them and mash them at any time. You can mark as many as you like, including more than one snippet on the same day.
Mark a Core Memory
From the day
Open the day and tap the circle in the top left of the snippet. It fills in to show the snippet is now a Core Memory. Tap it again to clear it. This works on both iOS and Android.
From your project (iOS)
Press and hold the snippet in your project and choose Make Core Memory. To clear it, press and hold again and choose Not Core Memory.
Your project must be in All Moments view for this option to show.
While editing a mash (iOS)
On the mashing screen, tap any thumbnail under the preview and choose Make Core Memory.
Mash your Core Memories
On iOS, tap the Play button in your project, then scroll down and choose Core Memories. This section appears once at least one snippet is a Core Memory.
You can also narrow any mash to its Core Memories: on the mashing screen, tap Core Memories in the mashing options, and a Core Memories Only banner confirms it. Tap it again to bring back the rest of your snippets. If the dates you picked have no Core Memories, 1SE lets you know.
One snippet per day
To mash a single snippet for each day, tap One per day (iOS) or One Moment Per Day (Android) in the mashing options. On days with more than one snippet, 1SE picks your Core Memory, so mark the moment you want to keep for each day.
